For Farmers, Commoners, Woodland Managers, Local Producers & Allied Rural Businesses (or their staff)

You can now apply for a grant which can cover up to 75% of the cost of attending training to help you, or your staff, improve the skills needed for your job or business.

The Training Grant can support training if it falls within one of the following areas:

Technical skills e.g. on-farm food production and processing skills, certificates of competence for equipment & machinery (e.g. chainsaws) and training in towing large trailers.
Information and communications technology (ICT);
Business operation and management;
Marketing;
Conservation and environment skills;
Diversification opportunities;
Managing resources;
Managing yourself and your staff;
Looking at new ways of working;
